You dont seem to have any kind of amnesia so its not DID. Also i dont think you described anything that could cause distress so i dont think is a disorder at all.
Katie acts the way nifty would if they were a child (sometimes)... Although this is just our explanation just like yours is, if we play hypotheticals anyone acts as any other if they were just like the first one is. Its pointless.(edited)
ive heard stories about people with DID getting to a point where they can live peacefully with their headmates after therapy, so im just curious about what it is considered at that point
The fact that they are similar to you says nothing about what they are. But what you believe they are will shape what they are. So if you believe they are an alter ego, they will become so, and if you believe they are a tulpa, they will be.
You are doing theorycrafting. You are using any means necessary to logically explain why thomas might not actually be a tulpa. I dont see how this helps at all...(edited)

What makes your tulpa someone else than you is that you "decide" to see it as someone else. If you stop doing that, which you are doing, it will stop being someone else.
Well, i view it as a simulation, dreams are based off of your unconscious associations of things (birds have wings, cars have wheels, trees have leaves, etc)
